Week 1 – September 20th to September 26th:

Breathing with Tatjana

“Breathing is the first act of life and the last. Our very life depends on it.” (Joseph Pilates)
You breathe all day every day of your life, but have you ever paid attention to how you breathe and what your breath can do for you?Every cell in the body depends on oxygen to function. Proper breathing can help us not only with our fitness level. Cognition, digestion, mental clarity, the immune system and our stress levels are also influenced by the way we breathe. This is why Joseph Pilates called breathing one of the foundations of Pilates.

In the first week Tatjana will help you learn how to use your breathing to improve your physical and mental health.

Week 2 – September 27th to October 3th :

Happy feet with Devon

Most of us spend a lot of time on our feet, during sport, work and daily life, but few of us give proper attention to our feet in our training. Keeping your feet strong and flexible will not only keep your feet happy; It can also help reduce foot, ankle, knee and back pain, improve your overall posture, and make it more enjoyable to stay active.

In the second week Devon will guide you through exercises and practices to have you happy dancing into the last week of the challenge.

Week 3 – October 4th to October 10th:

Strong Core with Marina

“The whole country, the whole world, should be doing my exercises. They’d be happier.” (Joseph Pilates)

The muscles of your lower back, hips and abdomen are not referred to as the core for nothing.
These muscles are central to your posture, your balance and movement patterns whether you are in the gym, on a sports field or doing your daily chores.
Strong core muscles will make any activity easier. If you want to improve your golf swing, your running pace, help a friend move or simply bend over to pick up a grocery bag, a stronger core will help you move better and feel better.
 In the last week of the challenge, Marina will help you find the core strength and mobility you need to finish the challenge feeling strong, confident and eager to continue your healthy habit of Pilates.

The challenge is divided into 3 levels:

  • Beginner
  • Intermediate to advanced
  • Advanced/Athlete
  • All classes offer exercise options suitable for all levels.

There is a need to invest in extra equipment :

  • Mat (or blanket)
  • Dynaband or elastiek
  • Pilates ball or Pillow
  • Yoga block or book
  • Dumbbells1-3 kg / Water Bottles 0,5
  • Wooden stick or broom
  • Tune up ball / Franklin Ball / Tennis bal
